Dogs are the love our of lives! Especially Labs. My first Lab, Honey, was a Yellow. She and Sassy, our Springer Spaniel, have gone on to Heaven
to wait for us there. Until then, we have been blessed with 5 other wonderful dogs! Three are Labs and two are mixed breeds. |

Since Burnsie (above) was so lonely being an only dog, I HAD to get her a pet and Heide came to live with us. Heide is a Black Lab, our first
Black, who is so gentle and lazy the vet had trouble finding her heart beat. (Heide is pictured below with Bud.) |

After Heide came BJ, who is John's dog all the way through. BJ is a prefect specimen of a Lab. He came from Brenda Scott of Black Jack Kennels,
Gunter TX. He is 127 pounds of love and devotion to John and his toys, which he willingly shares with Bud - as long as John's not around! |

Since we live on a homestead, it only seemed right and fitting to have a "farm dog". And, of course, I found one at a local feed store. I told John he
followed me home......40 miles or so home....see how devoted he was! Bud is a Yellow Lab and although he is our "farm dog" it's not a high powered position especially as he decided he really liked living in the house
better than living in the barn! |
