The Beulah Land babies were invited to the Whitewright, TX library for baby animal day in March of 2001. Betsy the bunny, a 5 week old chick, and
2 Nigerian Dwarf Milk goats, Joy and Peace were so happy to visit with the children that day. Here's some pictures of their big adventure. |

As a Master Gardener I am asked to speak at our local area schools. And as John is now working from home, I do my best to drag him with me.
Here's some pictures of a visit to a Pre-Kindergarten where we took Sunshine in for the kids to see. Most of the kids thought she was a small dog. |

Sunshine really liked the tractor tire to jump on. She was such a ham! After her performance, the Pre-K class sang her song, You Are My Sunshine,
to her. |

Another time we talked about our homestead, gardening and the farm animals. Mr. Brownie went with us this time. I talked about the vegetables,
with live examples, asking the kids to identify the vegetables. Only one student knew what a kohlrabi was and none of the teachers knew, either! John gave a demo on making homemade paper to recycle junk mail. This was a
3rd. grade group. |
